Lamb Of God - Fan Suing Live Nation For Injuries At Show

TMZ is reporting that a man called William Tarantino has filed a lawsuit against concert promoter Live Nation regarding injuries he allegedly suffered during a 2012 Lamb Of God show. The gig happened at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut on November 23rd, 2012. Tarantino alleges his spine was fractured after being trampled by the crowd in the standing-only section of the venue during the performance. Tarantino seeks more than $75,000 from the promoter for failing to provide adequate security at the event and claims he has suffered permanent injuries as a result of the show.

Lamb Of God - Release New Video

Lamb Of God have released a new video for an old track, more precisely "Vigil" from their album As The Palaces Burn. It is not random because as it was previously reported the group will re-release the album for its 10th anniversary. Due out on November 11th via Prosthetic/Razor & Tie, this anniversary edition is a remixed and remastered version of 2003's As The Palaces Burn. Lamb Of God is taking you back to that time with the video for "Vigil" which you can watch here.

Lamb Of God - Premiere New Documentary Trailer

Last year, American metallers Lamb Of God were working on a film called As The Palaces Burn about their fans all across the globe. However, Randy Blythe's arrest and trial caused that film to take a much different path. You can watch the new trailer for the revised version of this film now over here. The band promises to release more details about it soon. For now, you can enjoy this new twist. The film will premiere at the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam between November 20th and December 1st. Theatrical and home releases follow next year.

Lamb Of God - Malaysian Concert At Risk, Now Cancelled (Update)

UPDATE on 04.09.2013: It seems like the Department of Islamic Development of Malaysia (Jakim) has won the battle against Lamb Of God. The heavy metal group has been denied a permit to stage a concert in Kuala Lumpur on September 28th because their performances were found to infringe on religious sensitivities and cultural values of Malaysian society. As usual, the fans are those who suffer the most with this whole ordeal. The band also decided to cancel the show after reportedly being threatened.

Lamb Of God - Frontman Posts Short Film

Lamb Of God's vocalist Randy Blythe has recently posted on his blog a short film called The Devil Is The Details which he shot during his trial in Czech Republic where he faced manslaughter charges and later was found not guilty and cleared of all the charges. With a memoir also coming up next year, you can watch the result of Blythe's experimental just under five minutes short film here which ends with "Rest in Peace, Daniel", the young man who died at that 2010 show in Prague after suffering head injuries.

Lamb Of God - Randy Blythe Memoir Coming Next Year

After last year's ordeal which was only really over last month, it isn't surprising that publishers wanted to get hold of Lamb Of God's singer Randy Blythe. He has now confirmed that he has penned a memoir focusing mainly on what happened last year about his arrest, incarceration, trial and exoneration that will come out in the Spring of 2014 on Perseus/Da Capo Press in North America and Random House in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

Lamb Of God - Czech Appeals Court Clears Frontman

It seems like Randy Blythe can finally breathe a sigh of relief. The Richmond Times Dispatch is reporting that an appeals court has upheld the acquittal of the Lamb Of God frontman accused of manslaughter due to the death of a fan at a concert in the Czech Republic. He had been found not guilty of manslaughter charges in March but the State Attorney promised to appeal but that verdict was upheld by the High Court in the Czech Republic and is final.

Lamb Of God - Announce New Tour Dates And Retreat

Following the recent troubles and acquittal of frontman Randy Blythe from all charges in the Czech Republic, Lamb Of God has announced today a North American tour of secondary markets from May 16th through June 20th. The tour continues the support of the album Resolution and hits 30 markets not yet visited on the current album cycle. Support on all dates will be Decapitated with Terror appearing through June 10th and The Acacia Strain appearing on the remaining shows.

Lamb Of God - Frontman Randy Blythe's Trial Begins

Randy Blythe, frontman of Lamb Of God, is in the Czech capital of Prague for his trial which started yesterday. After being arrested in the Czech Republic this past summer, detained for five weeks and then released on 400,000 dollars bail, Randy Blythe is back in a Czech court. He is being charged with what amounts to manslaughter, on allegations that he pushed a fan, Daniel Nosek, at a 2010 show in Prague, and the fan suffered head injuries from that push that eventually led to his death.

Lamb Of God - Frontman Indicted For Manslaughter

2012 has been quite a trying year for US metal band Lamb Of God. It also looks like the manslaughter case against the band's frontman, Randy Blythe, just won't go away. According to news from novinky.cz, Randy has officially been indicted for manslaughter in the Czech Republic. State Attorney's Office in Prague made the official indictment on November 30 which means there will likely be a full trial in the near future. According to novinky.cz, the court now has three months in which to fix the date for the trial or bring the case back for further investigation.
