Industrial death metallers Mechina have announced via Facebook that their new album will be titled Xenon, and will be released on the 1st of January of 2014. The band has also released the artwork for the album as well created by Ricky Lewis, which you can admire below. Empyrean, their latest album, was released on January 1st, 2013.
Austrian symphonic metal band Visions Of Atlantis has made available today a preview of their upcoming album Ethera, which means you can listen to samples from all of the new songs for the first time. Japanese metallers Blood Stain Child have broken the news of the departure of their Greek singer Sophia, who joined the band in 2010 after their former vocalist Sadew left, and made her debut with the band on their 2011 release, εpsilon. She has now decided to leave the band.

British gothic metallers Paradise Lost have unveiled the cover artwork for their new upcoming album Tragic Idol, set to be released on April 23rd, 2012, via Century Media Records. Dutch symphonic metallers Epica have announced that their 5th full-length album, which will be released on March 9th 2012 by Nuclear Blast, will be entitled Requiem For The Indifferent.
British extreme metallers Cradle Of Filth will release a new a new CD/DVD mini-album, entitled Evermore Darkly..., on October 10 in Europe through Peaceville Records and on October 18 in North America through Nuclear Blast.
The band has now revealed the cover artwork, which was done by Natalie Shau.

Visions Of Atlantis have parted ways with bassist Mario Lochert (also in Emergency Gate), who only joined the band in May last year.
The word from the band reads as follows: "After some crucial internal differences Mario Lochert is no longer a member of Visions of Atlantis. For the upcoming shows we're already working with new session-members who will take over this position for now as the band is currently not looking for a new fix bassplayer! We're looking forward to meeting you all at the next shows."
Delta, the fourth studio album of Visions Of Atlantis, will be released on February 25, 2011 via Napalm Records.
The album was recorded at Dreamscape Studios in Munich, Germany and will mark the debut of Maxi Nil, the new vocalist who joined the band last year.
Songtitles announced so far include: "Aeon", "Memento", "Reflections", "Gravitate Towards Fatality", "New Dawn" and "Beyond Horizon - The Poem Pt. II".
