Swiss extreme metallers Triptykon have announced on their official website that they have been invited to play a very special and exceptional show on June 23rd in Abtenau, Austria, near Salzburg. The concert will take place at a mountain lodge surrounded by the high Alps for a celebration of summer solstice. The number of tickets will be strictly limited to 300 in order to preserve the intimacy and exclusivity of this unique location. More information about the show can be found here.
Norwegian black metallers 1349 revealed on their official website that they have scheduled two special shows in Norway this April. The band will perform at Hulen in Bergen on April 27th and at Folken in Stavanger on April 28th.
On November 18th, members from high profile Norwegian metal bands, including Darkthrone, Satyricon and Taake, will take part in a live show called "Algir - Støttekonsert For Jonas R. Christiansen", at Bergen's prime rock venue, Garage. The aim is to raise awareness for colon cancer. In addition, Helheim, Gravdal and Slavia themselves will perform in order to help raise funds and provide 31-year-old Jonas Christiansen with a chance to fight the disease.

"Sons & daughters of bitches, your favourite asshole has just completed the new Taake album entitled Noregs Vaapen. It will be released as limited digipak through Dark Essence Records and double LP through Svartekunst Produksjoner in September.
Right now I'm too sick of working on the album to make any promotional statement. But I can quite humbly assure y'all that it's beyond what any of you deserve..
