Gojira - (Almost) Entire New Album Available For Streaming

French progressive metallers Gojira are currently streaming 10 of the 12 songs from the band's forthcoming "The Way Of All Flesh" album on their MySpace page.

According to the band's manager, Richard Gamba of Sphere Management, "we had planned to stream the whole "The Way of All Flesh" album from September 29 up to October 5, but due to unfortunate problems with the brand new MySpace player, we're only able to stream ten songs. We hope that the last two songs - "Oroborus" and "Vacuity" - will be on the player soon. We're sorry for the inconvenience and are hoping it will not affect your listening. Thanks for your understanding."

Evoken - To Enter Studio This Weekend

Evoken have issued the following update:

"It has been quite a awhile since the last update so without further hesitation, I give you the latest news regarding Evoken.

We have just completed our version of "Yet The Watchers Guard" for the upcoming Thergothon tribute on Solitude Productions. We think it is a respectable and authentic tribute to the kings of Lovecraftian DOOM!

We will also be entering the studio this weekend to begin recording a 4 song (3 songs/outro) split CD with Swedish heavyweights Beneath The Frozen Soil. This will be released by I Hate Records. Details are still mostly unclear as of this moment, however more will be posted as soon as I receive it... including the titles, time lengths, release date as well as other important news. So check back here as it will be updated soon."

In a further blog comment, Evoken further revealed: "All but one track is new. We will be redoing "Omniscient" from the 2002 promo. It was actually recorded for the 2005 album "Antithesis Of Light" but was scraped at the last minute due to time restrictions on a single CD."

Warbringer - Video Posted Online

Warbringer just completed a new video for the vicious track, "At The Crack Of Doom," with up-and-coming director Joe Hendrick. The clip is a savage, performance-based video that unleashes a fury of aggression and all-out thrash madness, which further proves how lethal this band is live. Head over to http://www.myspace.com/warbringer now to check it out.

John Laux (guitar) states: "We ended up performing "At The Crack Of Doom" at a very old, evil and torn-up building in the Mojave desert. This video is a performance piece like "Combat Shock," but we also had extras running around in hooded robes carrying torches as part of a post-apocalyptic cult or something. Needless to say, after working on the project we are very excited for its release."

In the meantime, Warbringer is continuing their undying worldwide campaign supporting their highly acclaimed debut offering, "War Without End", The band will hit the road again on October 1 supporting the legendary Overkill for a month-long North American assault. After Warbringer finishes their stint with Overkill, they will wrap-up the songwriting process for their much anticipated sophomore offering and then head into the studio to begin tracking. The band will then join up with Soilwork, Darkane and Swallow The Sun for an extensive tour that will last from January 30th through March 22nd. Feel free to visit http://www.myspace.com/warbringer to view their complete touring itinerary.

John Laux had this to say about the Overkill dates: "We couldn't be more excited to hit the road in support of fucking Overkill. It's been awhile since we've stopped by your town on a real, killer thrash bill. We hope to see all of our friends around the country for some good, violent and bloody old-school mayhem. We've been waiting a long time for this."

Mekong Delta - Announces New Singer And Drummer

Mekong Delta have announced the addition of vocalist Martin LeMar (Tomorrow's Eve) and drummer Alex Landenburg (At Vance, Annihilator) to the group's ranks.

Posted on the band's official site: "Mekong Delta has found a (permanent) replacement for Leo as vocalist. His name is Martin LeMar and you might know him for his work with Tomorrow's Eve. To give you a little insight to Martin's voice, here's a remake of the track "Epilogue" from Mekong Delta's second album ("The Music of Erich Zann") including Martin's vocals."

Mekong Delta has found a drummer able to play the upcoming live shows. His name is Alex Landenburg. In the video section of the site you can find a video where you can see Alex (and hear most of the rest of the band) rehearsing "Immortal Hate".

Due to some discussions going on on the Mekong Delta forums, founding member and bassist Ralf Hubert wants everyone to know what Mekong Delta stands for with the following statement. He will explain in more detail later, but right now it comes down to this:

"Mekong Delta is, was and will never be bounded to musicians, Mekong Delta is a way of composing and every musician who is able to handle his instrument will be able to play the stuff. Furthermore I like to remember that person cult is something I tried to defend from the beginning, most of you should know that. I have to find a way to respect the wishes of you all in seeing Mekong playing live and the time situation of the musicians and as it seems to be impossible to get both together I have to make a decision for the future as for example I needed 2 1/2 years to get the musicians together for the Kaleidoscope tour. The only way to realise permanent live presence and continuos work on new stuff was to change the line up."

Tankard - New Album In December

Tankard have issued the following statement:

"We just recorded our new album "Thirst" coming out on December 19th via AFM-Records! The new album was produced again by Andy Classen at his Stage One Studio! More details about "Thirst" you will find the next days in this section!"

In other news the band had to cancel two French live dates in October. Tankard commented: "We are very very sorry to inform you that we have to cancel both our shows in Paris and Marseille/France on october 3rd and 4th. Reason: The premature twins of our guitarist Andi are very sick. His little son Jannis will even have another dangerous surgery in Hannover 350 km from Frankfurt away next week so there's no way that we can play those concerts. We hope to play shows next year instead. If we have more news about this we'll inform you here. Sorry but this is a serious emergency."

Arsis - Bassist Quits

Noah Martin has issued the following statement in regards to stepping down from his bass-playing duties in Arsis:

"Well, I don't know where to start. When you're in a band, you're nothing but at the will of the group you're in. At some point, after lots of nights laying awake in a bunk after a show in the middle of the country, you really start to wonder where your life is headed. I know there's a big difference between what's smart and what you really want to do. I really need to do the smart thing and finish college, though I'd also like to do what I love, and continue playing with Arsis. Unfortunately, I can't do them both. Thus, I've decided to leave the band.

I've had such a phenomenal time with Jim , Ryan , and Shawn , as we'll always be friends. I'll miss working with Gerardo, Loana, and bugging Mike at Nuclear Blast, who've made working with them the most enjoyable experience. Thanks to anyone and everyone we've ever worked with, including the bands with which we've toured.

I would like to personally thank all ours friends and fans, since you've always been one in the same in my eyes. Leaving something you love is the most difficult thing to do, though leaving it doesn't mean you'll never come back to it. I most likely will - after I finish school. If I wind up pursuing something else in the meantime, I'll probably do so, but that's another story.

My last two shows with Arsis will be September 26th in Indianapolis, Indiana and September 27th in Covington, Kentucky."

Saxon - New Album Title, Track List & Single Artwork Revealed

British metal legends Saxon have posted the following update on their official site:

''All Saxon fans have a lot of things to look forward to in the coming months: to start off with, the British metal legend will release their new download single 'Live To Rock', followed by the arrival at the stores of their current studio album Into The Labyrinth, as well as major tours to support both releases. So a hot autumn is about to start in a few days' time!

Saxon's new single 'Live To Rock' (artwork: click) will be available as an internet download from 17 October 2008, and Saxon will present their new track live for the first time during the tour which will take Biff Byford & Co., alongside Motörhead and Danko Jones, through England and Germany in November/December 2008. Their new studio album, ''Into The Labyrinth'', will be out on 12 January 2009 (Germany: 9 January 2009, US: 13 January 2009). Saxon are currently still working on an additional 14th track, which will be available exclusively as a download on iTunes from the release date. "The new material was written in England and at my house in France," Byford explains. "Stylistically, I would describe the album as an even balance between Lionheart and The Inner Sanctum, a mix of powerful, in-your-face rock songs and pure heavy metal tracks. We're very happy with the production and proud of Into The Labyrinth."

"Into The Labyrinth" track listing:
01. Battalions Of Steel
