Exhorder - Founding Guitarist Vinnie LaBella Out Of The Band

Exhorder have just announced on Facebook that they have parted ways with founding guitarist Vinnie LaBella. The band will go on tour with Overkill as planned, but it has not been revealed who will replace LaBella. Singer Kyle Thomas is now the sole remaining founding member of the group.

Uada - Drummer Quits, Latin American Shows Canceled

It looks as if Uada and Latin America don't blend well together. The Portland-based band that has been nominated in the Drama Of The Year category of our 2019 Metal Storm Awards for "battling against the elements" in Mexico, has now canceled their appearances on the Black Moon Shows Festival in El Salvador and Guatemala. The reason given by Uada is that their drummer quit just hours before these shows and the other members were informed of his decision via Facebook.

Exhorder - Release New Single

Just days away from kicking off their U.S. tour with Overkill, groove thrash pioneers Exhorder have debuted a brand new single, entitled "The Man That Never Was". It was recorded during the sessions for their recently released record, Mourn The Southern Skies. Fans can stream the track now and pick up a limited edition 7" vinyl, featuring the b-side, live version of "Legions Of Death" recorded live from Saint Vitus in New York, on the upcoming tour.

Hail Spirit Noir - Sign With Agonia Records, New Album Coming

Blackened / psychedelic prog metallers Hail Spirit Noir have signed a record deal with Agonia Records. In 2018, the trio was joined full-time by its live members and began composing music for a new album, which was completed in late 2019 and is expected to be released in June. The follow-up to Mayhem In Blue is regarded by the band as the next step in their ongoing evolution, this time with an '80s twist.

Riverside - Announce They Are A Quartet Again

Sean Reinert - Drummer Dead At 48

Former Cynic and Death drummer Sean Reinert has died. He was the founding member of Cynic along with guitarist/vocalist Paul Masvidal and he played on all their records, including the legendary Focus. He was also the drummer on the classic Death album, Human. No cause of death has yet been revealed and an autopsy is going to be performed. He was only 48 years old.
