As previously announced, Hungarian black metallers Thy Catafalque's forthcoming album will hit the stores on November 11th in Europe (January 10th, 2012, in North America). You can now listen to the song "Fekete Mezők" (Black Fields), the 9-minute opening track from Rengeteg at this location. According to the band, "Fekete Mezők" encompasses the various styles and atmospheres to be heard all throughout the album.
As announced late July, Thy Catafalque recently signed on Season of Mist. The Hungarian Avant-garde metal act's forthcoming album is entitled Rengeteg (Hungarian for "vast, "trackless forest") and will hit the stores on November 11th in Europe (January 10th, 2012 in North America).
The artwork was created by Portuguese photographer Rui Luz and Thy Catafalque mastermind Tamás Kátai.
Swedish Gothic Doom Metal band Draconian has posted the following statement on its official website:
"The Draconian quest continues. The band has booked the prominent Fascination Street studio (Katatonia, Opeth, etc.) in Örebro to record their fourth release in September this year.
Currently the band is in the last stage of song writing and pre-production recordings in order to finalize this new saga. The album will generally deal with a more diverse and intense sound than previous releases, which should attract both old and new fans as well. The title of the album is yet uncertain, but a few new song titles are "Seasons Apart", "The Failure Epiphany" and "Morphine Cloud". Stay tuned!"

Danish Death/Thrash metallers Hatesphere have issued the following update via the band's official website:

MVD Visual has set a January 16, 2007 U.S. release date for Obituary's first-ever DVD, entitled "Frozen Alive". The DVD, which was filmed on August 24 at the Stodola Club in Warsaw, Poland, will include a seven-camera shoot of the show plus the "Insane" video, the previously unreleased "On the Floor" video, interviews with Frank Watkins (bass), Trevor Peres (guitar), John (vocals) and Donald Tardy (drums), and three documentaries — the making of "Insane", the making of "Frozen In Time" album, and "Backstage In Poland".
