Kauan are back! The Russian folk/doom metallers have been releasing albums in quick succession over the last few years and have now announced Sorni Nai, their seventh album in only eight years. Sorni Nai is a concept album that references and expands upon territory explored in their previous work Pirut, showcasing a single 52-minute long track, twisting through lush string orchestrations into sinister and operatic doom metal. This September 11th, 2015 sees the release of Ave Maria - En Plein Air on earMUSIC. The album features 12 "Ave Maria" songs by a wide variety of composers. Tarja Turunen breathes life into some of the most loved and rare songs of Paolo Tosti, David Popper, Astor Piazzolla, and Johann Sebastian Bach/Charles Gounod, among others. Avenged Sevenfold are parting ways with another drummer. Arin Ilejay is no longer behind the kit and the band will be moving forward without him due to creative differences. Since the passing of drummer Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan in 2009, the band has had in its ranks Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater) and later Arin Ilejay. Avenged Sevenfold still haven't announced a replacement but say they are excited about their future plans. Any guesses on who the new drummer might be?
