The line-up for this year's Rockstar Mayhem Festival has been revealed. The stage will be shared by Slipknot, Slayer, Anthrax, The Devil Wears Prada, As I Lay Dying, Asking Alexandria, Whitechapel and High On Fire and the tour will kick off the 26 date trek across the US beginning on June 30th at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California.

After revealing the title of their upcoming album, German heavy metallers Running Wild have now unveiled Shadowmaker's tracklist and cover art, which can be seen below. The artwork was created by Rock N' Rolf and Jens Reinhold (Evergrey, Freedom Call, Virgin Steele), who also will do the complete artwork for all configurations available. The album will be released via Steamhammer/SPV on April 20th in Germany, April 23rd in Europe and April 24th in the US/Canada.

The new album will be the follow-up to 2010's Reflections Within Dissonance and should be released at the end of the year via Unique Leader Records. Portuguese progressive metallers Vertigo Steps have released a 12 minute teaser with excerpts from every song to be featured on their upcoming new album Surface/Light, penned for a 2012 release. You can now listen to it below. More album details were reported here.

The band announced it in the following statement: "Vertigo Steps are proud to announce the conclusion of 3rd opus Surface/Light, considering it to be the pinnacle and defining point as a band with '13 heavy rock songs steeped in raw emotion, soaring melancholy and cinematic grandeur'. Recordings took place at UltraSound Studios (Moita), starting in late September, with Daniel Cardoso (producer), also responsible for drums and bass. Details on a 2012 release date will be known when available."

Moreover, the band announced the guest participation of Patrik Karlsson in the song "The Porcupine Dilemma" and they will also be covering the song "Nothing At All", originally released by Rob Dougan.

The Melancholy Hour's follow-up will be the third studio album of the band and is set to be released some time next year.
