It seems like the revival of !T.O.O.H.! was short lived. After a disastrous show in Ostrava, the band has decided to break up once again after they complete their new upcoming album Democratic Solution, planned to be released sometime later this year.
Verwüstung solo member Chris Broyles announced earlier in the week that he is working on a new album to be titled Tunnel Ghosts. A new post today states that he is finished recording the four tracks, and is just waiting for the cover art. This will be a follow up to his last EP Soft Hands, Pale Moon. More details should be revealed soon.
Czech metallers !T.O.O.H.! have released a short Facebook status announcing the title for their upcoming full-length along with some details about the album, which will feature nine songs. It seems like Josef "Humanoid" Vesely is doing better as well.

Bad news from the !T.O.O.H.! camp. The band's vocalist and guitarist, Josef "Humanoid" Vesely, has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. The band informed us via their Facebook page. Despite that, the band has completed the writing process for their forthcoming album, which they expect to start recording around September/October.

According to their last update, the band is now working on the album artwork for the follow-up to last year's Dark Foil. New details about the release are expected to surface soon.
US technical thrashers Rumpelstiltskin Grinder have set the release date for their third studio album Ghostmaker for June 19th in North America via Candlelight Records. The album was produced by the band and reunites the band with noted gore artist Mike Hrubovcak (Sinister, Hate Eternal, Cattle Decapitation).

Lamb Of God's guitarist Mark Morton and Devildriver's frontman Dez Fafara have formed a side project called Born Of The Storm. Mark Morton has posted via twitter links for two demo songs from the project, "Nowhere Fast" and "Dust". The track "Dust" features Kevin Talley (Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Chimaira) on drums and "Nowhere Fast" features a guest appearance by Ryan Lake of Alabama Thunderpussy on the first guitar solo. No further details have been revealed on the project yet and it is not clear if they plan to release a full-length album in the future.
Canadian metallers Baptized In Blood have announced on their Facebook page that they have started writing for their new album, which will be the follow-up to 2010's self-titled Baptized In Blood. The band had this to say about the current activities: "Today we start demos for a new BIB record, superstoked to get into the studio and make some noise at the A Room! Boom! Game on."
