"The Quaker"
Never heard this band and funeral doom is not my cup of taste, but that cover art may be the best I've ever seen.

The cover is incredible, but this is just boring as hell. Slow noodling for 9 minutes, with some croaky groans. The vocals are truly awful, and monotonous.

More or less? At least the few funeral bands I enjoy have variation in the vocals and you know, actual strong development in the themes and motifs. (But to be fair, I only actually enjoy a small, small handful of funeral bands because most of it is, like this, just sleep-inducingly boring)

Funeral fans love boring stuff and this is excellent. This is probably a good album to get in to funeral if you get the taste for it as it is light- funeral. Still excellent though
