Alt/folk rock outfit from Norway Gåte have launched a music video for "Hemnarsverdet", a song taken from their recently released EP Til Nord. Directed by Ole Fredrik Wannebo.




Commented the band: "We're proud to present the music video for "Hemnarsverdet". "Hemnarsverdet" is a story about blood revenge and savagery from medieval times, and the Halling dance represents the most devilish manhood test for these vengeful men. The deadly dance unfolds until one man stands victorious.

"The song is based on an old folk tale from the region of Telemark. We wanted to convey the mood and the dramatic course of events, and the tale of Hemnarsverdet is beautifully produced by Ragnarok Film."
