Havnatt - New Studio Album Out Next Week
Norwegian dark folk music project Havnatt will release their fourth full length effort, Gammal Bygd, on February 22nd. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Tom Simonsen at the Secret Quarters Studios. Artwork created by Robert Høyem.
On this album, the Havnatt duo continues to evolve their unique style of melancholic, acoustic dark folk music. The arrangements based around Cecilie Langlie's voice and Tom Simonsen's various acoustic guitar instruments still sound familiar to existing Havnatt fans, with just a hint of other instruments making an appearance here and there. The mood is dark, haunting, warm and ambient.
