After having been in the studio as recently as last month, reactivated UK thrashers Hydra Vein announced on their Facebook page that they have finished recording their long-awaited third studio album, which will be their first since 1989's After The Dream and is due later this year. The record also introduces a brand new lineup, with bassist Damon Maddison and guitarist Danny Ranger as the only remaining original members.

The band wrote: "The recording of album number 3 is done! A great last week in the studio and It was an absolute blast with everyone laying down some killer tracks.
We are all really excited about getting this out into the world later this year."
