Ulster heavy metal blasters Conjuring Fate shared news that drummer Niall McGrotty has retiring from music career due to his heart problems. His statement can be read below. At the same time, the band announced a farewell show, scheduled on the 1st of July in Belfast.




Niall McGrott commented: "It is from a very heavy heart and a painful decision to announce, I am retiring from drum duties due to my on going health problem. A decision that I have held off for a long time but my body is telling me different.

"I have had a pretty successful 30 years of being a metal drummer doing what I love but my time has unfortunately come. The intensity and energy I need to provide isn't there any more physically.

"I want to thank you all for supporting everything I've achieved throughout the years and I am truly humbled. To my brothers in [b]Bakken[/band] and [b]Conjuring Fate[/band]... I am truly blessed to be part of an awesome group of talented musicians and beautifuI guys that have ever been in my life.

"P.S. Get your arse's to my final gigs in Sandinos on Sunday 7th May and Limelight on Saturday 1st July."
