Earache has confirmed that industrial metal pioneers Godflesh will reunite for what is most likely to be a special one-off show at next year's Hellfest Open Air. Previous bands that have reunited to perform at France's most famous metal event include Carcass and Amebix.
Godflesh formed after Justin K Broadrick left Napalm Death in order to pursue a different musical direction. After 6 LPs and a number of very well received EPs, the band decided to call it quits. JKB later went on to form the currently well known shoegaze-metal band Jesu. There are currently no reports that this reunion will result in more than just a special one-off show. The Hellfest staff are expected to confirm Godflesh as part of the festival's line-up shortly.

Hhahaha those were EXACTLY the words I used when I read the title...
Unfortunately I won't be there, fuck... It's just too far away for me right now. Let alone the prices. |

| Godflesh are reuniting. That's good news anyday. I wonder if they'll do if just for this show or if they'll decide to do more stuff during the reunion. |
