Umm, correct me if I'm wrong but you can return the ticket and get a refund, can't you?
I.
Yes you are right, but I have no idea what I have to go through to get a refund. I expect the worst when it comes to the French railway company. Moreover, I guess I'd rather settle for this solution, as now I will not depend on anyone anymore, changing plans a week before the festival doesn't reassure me.
Btw, you're coming this year again, right? |

I haven't tried getting a refund from them but I reckon at the worst you can go down to the ticket office with your reservation (or tickets). You might not get a full refund, though. Anyways, what do I know, it's your country.

Well, I have never missed a train, and never had to change any tickets or anything, I just try to stick to my plans all the time, I get quite paranoid when it comes to travelling actually. So I'm sure you do know more than I do about the French railway company refund policy, because I try to keep away from them as much as possible if I can help it .
I just hope for you that you won't have to put that knowledge to use this time, since you're taking the train haha. |

Your experience with French anything was horrible. But I'm not going to blame the French for all of it . |

| OK, well, this is an early take-off, but I'm living home this morning at 6 am, to go spend some days in Paris, then I'll directly go to Nantes on the 17th! See you all in five days! |

| Back to London Monday night then train to Hellfest on Thursday. Bring on the hangovers and bangovers. |
|
|
|
| I've just had my first proper look through the running order - and it all seems very good. On the last day, from 13:45 onwards there are great bands I want to see non-stop. |

| Saw loads of great gigs yesterday and friday. Today started off brilliantly with Omega Massif. Yesterday night after sundown was ice cold . Watched Immortal and Alice Cooper on the screen in the vip area. News hot from the press out of Rob Lowes mouth: he and John Perez will start working on the new Solitude Aeturnus album this coming Thursday when Rob is back in Texas; |

Don't worry BE it only rained a little bit on Thursday evening and Saturday morning, nothing that stopped us from enjoying this excellent edition of the Hellfest! My fav I think, even though we didn't get to organize a proper meeting with our fellow MSers. Hellfest is getting better every year |

Got to say it was an great event, think it also was the best festival I've ever been to Except for sanitation, but the nature supplied well enough to sustain for a few days haha. But really, awesome festival. Got the chance to meet wrathchild and Promonex for a little bit, and also Linak a couple of times. And saw Jeff cruising happily by a few times on his quad thingie, busy with doing very important stuff I can imagine! Would be cool if I could have met a few more MSers, but well, c'est la vie on a festival, always got something to see, especially on this one fest. My brother was there as well, he was in a very crowded bus as I heard, with Lucas and Marcel. The bus my friends and I were in was actually pretty much empty and made for a very comfortable ride (comfortable enough to go lying down on the floor between the seats to get some sleep). And Lucas, thanks for your interest, the report for the research should be done this week! |

It was great finally meeting you, although I had hope for a sort of one minute meeting with everyone else but it proved impossible to organize... And I've looked everywhere for Linak but couldn't find her. Glad to hear she was here |

And for the record! I did carefully look for metalstorm shirts, I was excited about meeting some fellow metalstormers like wrath and barry and jeff to name a few but pff, all I ever did was run into Eddie every 45 minutes, and I see him often enough already ha!
Such a shame, I don't think I'll be returning next year, or will I? Not if Kiss plays again! ... or maybe only if Kiss plays again...
Someone should have brought a flag
or one of those chicken costumes.
All in all, it was my first big festival and man alive! me and my little ping enjoyed it!
Kinda late my post here huh, well, maybe, maaybe next year, if someone brings the flag.
Or the chicken costume. |
