That's true. For example, the question of whether you like or hate winter affects your Seasonal Affective Disorder, which is kinda stupid, you can hate any season for a number of particular reasons.

Interesting quiz... Major Depression: High-Moderate Dysthymia: Moderate Bipolar Disorder: Extremely High Cyclothymia: Very High Seasonal Affective Disorder: Moderate Postpartum Depression: N/A It's somewhat accurate to a degree. The results mostly show the extreme sides of it though.

I scored very high in cyclothymia. Everything else was very slight or slight. Now to find out what that means... Yeah, fair enough. Though it seemed to get results from questions that I was half and half about, like excessive confidence. Looking at the tell tale symptoms I would disagree with the diagnosis. Also I believe that the human brain is far too complex to really understand, and personally I believe that a person cures depression by making a conscious effort to be positive about their life, and taking action and being proactive, rather than taking drugs or paying disturbing amounts of money to psychologists. That's just me.

Major Depression: Extremely High Dysthymia: Very High Bipolar Disorder: Slight Cyclothymia: Moderate Seasonal Affective Disorder: High Postpartum Depression: N/A Although I usually take tests like this with a pinch of salt, Id say these results are accurate. Not that I know what Dysthymia, or Cyclothymia is, I'll need to look that up. lol

To answer a big question in this thread - "Cyclothymic Disorder is a chronic bipolar disorder consisting of short periods of mild depression and short periods of hypomania. These symptoms may last a few days to a a number of weeks. The onset is separated by short periods of normal mood. Individuals with cyclothymia are never totally free of symptoms of either depression or hypomania for more than a number of months at a time."
