Interesting choices, I never saw Moonspell live, as sinful as that may be (I will this year) so basically I only saw underground bands live but there are pretty good bands like My Enchantment (who I'm always talking about, its cuz they are really good) and they usually do a cover as well, Arch Enemy's We Will Rise, it works pretty well because its a great song. And they are not good because they play that cover, they are good because they play the songs from their album and do it very energetically and accurately.

I think RAMP are very good live, but I only say them for like 40 minutes, unfortunately. But they rocked the stage, besides their songs are good so they might as well do it.

I'm not saying that WEB are good live just because they play "Raining Blood".

There are bands with great shows. This are some of them:
Moonspell: For all that surronds the show(as we say here in Portugal "A Mistica")
Ramp: Very good interplay with the audience
Simbiose: Mosh since the first second!
Holocausto Canibal: Crazy motherf*ckers!
Acromaniacos: Avacalhanço Total
I could go on, Strupum Dei, Decayed, Pitch Black but I'll never get out of here!

Bosque are a pretty interesting funeral doom band, especially their material in the split with Senthil.

I also enjoyed a lot Corpus Christii's last release.

There was one funeral doom band who's had lyrics in portuagese but I forgot name

It is probably Brazilian, as Brazil has some great funeral doom bands while Portugal just Bosque, as long as I know.

Got another one: Alastor : Black/Thrash from hell! They are highly influenced by the 80's Thrash and they released 3 albums. One of them is totally written in Portuguese (with the exception of only one song). Well, i checked their albums and i definitely liked some of the songs that i heard. The only problem is the production, quite bad imo.

There should be more investment in quality studios and places to play even. But the country is so weak financially that its almost impossible.

Me too but it sells and it sells good! Quality doesn't matter in our country!

You're right! NO more pimba here! lol Fortunately there are many metal bands out there and good ones. this space is for them,they deserve!

Actually, its amazing how there are so many metal bands in Portugal. Thanks to the internet we know them, because before it would be very dificult to know what we know now.

metal-archices I agree but % 10-20 in all countruies are good band and a lot of por bands are forgotten and so rear I dunno who has some rear demo he/she ae lucky bastard
