I've already seen a bunch of 2015 releases being announced, and even streaming in full in some locations, so I figured I'd go ahead and create a place for those releases to be posted. To start we'll have the new Swamp Witch album The Slithering Bog. It's a sludge filled doom album that simply slays, and is streaming in its' entirety on the Swamp Witch bandcamp page. The official release date (for the physical versions) is February 20th, 2015.

I don't know how to insert images, so fuck you, here's some black metal.

Quote me to see the code. Eazy cheezy like squeezy cheezy peaz.

You can even make a clickable image by doing (without spaces): [img] the image link [/ url]

That's good stuff that. Haven't properly got around to listening to it yet but there's something slightly unusual sounding about it.

That is exactly what I did but I looked at the preview and somehow it didn't work...
EDIT: wait no, never mind, I put in the entire image link Thanks for the help ^^

EDIT: just realized that last thing I said didn't make any sense whatsoever. The problem was that I had clicked on the image and selected "open link in new tab" instead of "open image in new tab" and copied that url.

Yeah, still have to finish it (which I will get to right now,) but those were my thoughts exactly.

Also really dig that artwork. Simple but really nice colour and design.

Yeah, when I check out albums outside of Metal Storm I usually only listen to the ones with a good cover art, since otherwise there's just too much stuff to check out. And on Bandcamp I can guess what the album will sound like about 70% of the time just based on the cover art, which sucks.

It sucks, but as you say it does really cut down on what to check out and what not to. It's weird but sometimes you just know something is going to be good based on the artwork, just likes 9 times out of 10 crappy artwork usually ends up having terrible bedroom music associated with it, or something very typical of the artwork style.

Haven't properly listened to that one yet but I found this today which is a remix or sorts of one of the tracks off it, which is rather nice.

Haha I am indeed aware of that but was yet to give a spin on that. The original is a rather interesting album.

Shit, does that mean they probably aren't French? I couldn't find where they were from so took a guess based on the title for my list =P

I did spot that but I'm fairly sure that's the label =P the other bands on it also have Colorado in the tags.

Actually I realise now it's all owned by Njijijquidijja guys isn't it, so must be Colorado... -_-

Ehm. Maybe they only accept bands from Colorado...? I only know Njiqahdda and they're from Colorado according to MA.

Yeah I just realised the whole label is run by Njiqahdda people so I guess it must be Colorado after all. Damn peasants.

Yep, made it sound like Tarzan speak. Plus we don't use that notion of "unfolding". So it sounds like the guy is literally watching someone unfolding a piece of paper called "death". Also it's "la mort". The closest to what they wanted to say must be something like "Regarder La Mort Se Dérouler" but even that sounds so damn retarded. This has become my favourite band name ever.

REGARDER MORT DÉPLIER!!! REGARDER MORT DÉPLIER!!! REGARDER MORT DÉPLIER!!!

I'm having a fit here.

Hahaha, I'm just laughing imagining you having so much fun with that. I didn't think it that funny, but now that you pointed out all their errors it does sound like Tarzan speak
Also, you should make an "unbored cover" version where a guy is unfolding a piece of paper with the word "death' written on it. Might not get lots of +1s on this site, but it'd still be funny for those who get it.

Hahaha. IM ON IT RIGHT NOW.

When I start laughing at absurd things like this I feel the irresistible urge to go down the six stories, tear my clothes apart and like, scream "REGARDER MORT DÉPLIER !!!" at the top of my lungs while chasing cars.

Be sure to show it to me when you're finished
And I totally know that feeling, minus the clothe-tearing maybe. I don't wanna waste perfectly good clothes.

On topic:
That other album by E. (not the death unfolding one) sounded pretty decent, but there were too many parts I didn't like.

Just gave this a full listen and its an interesting spin on the original album and is quite good especially the last track but I prefer the original record to this. Or maybe I'm not into that much Ambient/drone black so fuck it.

First announcement from the I, Voidhanger roster! (ya missed me?)

Nar Mattaru - Ancient Atomic Warfare
Chilean Death Metal

Sounds better than their debut which I wasn't a big fan of. Going to have to listen to the rest though.

Saw this on facebook. Good song but its no surprise as you can put your money on I, Voidhanger records, they deliver the goods without fail.

Hmm, I dunno, that sounds very ordinary and unremarkable for an I, Plane Hangar release. Maybe the full album will reveal more.
