Shoutout to the woods of Småland that looks after my daughter and her 7 year old friend. This is without no doubt the best song that has been recorded in the woods of Småland this year [link]
Finnish has 16, Estonian 14. Though most inflections can be derived via suffixes from about 4 of them (3 singular, 1 plural), What's probably complicated is when to use the correct form.
I've already seen a bunch of 2015 releases being announced, and even streaming in full in some locations, so I figured I'd go ahead and create a place for those releases to be posted. To start we'll have the new Swamp Witch album The Slithering Bog. It's a sludge filled doom album that simply slays, and is streaming in its' entirety on the Swamp Witch bandcamp page. The official release date (for the physical versions) is February 20th, 2015.
Ditto, this song is really good. Also, a one-woman black metal band from Brazil of all places is not something you see every day. Or any day, for that matter.

Makes one wonder how Mykyr, or however the fuck you spell it, got sudden, overnight recognition for being a femme-black band, but barely anyone's heard of Khaos. Good old marketing.

The fact that I've never heard of Myrkur until now proves how out of touch I am. U_U

You could have probably taken a holiday and missed all the fuss to be honest. She's fairly decent Burzum crossed with Alcest type thing but hardly worthy of the hype she got a few months ago.
Don't know the band, but their debut has a shit ton of a positive reviews on MA, and a very positive review by young Troy on here. From what I can tell this new stuff will have much nicer sound and quality death metulz song writing. Definitely keeping an eye out for this. Sounds funking sweet, particularly the soundcloud one. Quite Triptykon inspired I think. Embrional.
Absolutely loved their 2014 release and looking forward to this one.
It's usually cool if you can actually type the band name / album title into the post so we can find it if we used the search engine. You know, to avoid reposts. Joe, that's for you too.

Some decent enough thrash
[center]Breathless - Return to Pangea
Spanish Thrash
Great find.
I've got the opporutnity to listen "Thrashumancy" via Xtreem music(their label) in 2012 and I was completely blown away. Some terrific riffs and songs which really pushes the band into cader of likes Crisix, Soziedad, Angelus, Muro etc.
It'll be fun to listen to new material from Breathless.
So from members of Fuck the Facts we get something that is part creepy, industrialised dark ambient / death industrial and part ultra gritty dissonant sludge doom laced with atmosphere. Both are sides of the sound are pretty amazing stuff, though I do wish there was another one of the doom tracks on it.
New Nocternity album incoming in April. I remember years and years ago thinking Onyx was the bees knees. While I don't think it's all that special any more this track definitely sounds like something worth listening to. Like Onyx it's nicely produced, slow, fuzzy black metal with some nice melancholic melodies.
And speaking of black metal bands I once liked but haven't listened to in ages, the new Helrunar sounds quite promising too.
This sounds all right too. Technical / progressive death-thrash. A tad wanky at points but really neck-breaking and the production goes a fair way in making this stand out. Little weird snippets like some random midi-esque interludes really help too. Sounds like I could get on board with this.
Here's some Lovecraft-ian doom / death with really long album titles; a lot of people's bag I gather. Sounds like solid stuff. Not keen on the vocal style though.
