I've already seen a bunch of 2015 releases being announced, and even streaming in full in some locations, so I figured I'd go ahead and create a place for those releases to be posted. To start we'll have the new Swamp Witch album The Slithering Bog. It's a sludge filled doom album that simply slays, and is streaming in its' entirety on the Swamp Witch bandcamp page. The official release date (for the physical versions) is February 20th, 2015.

Surprisingly good (as for my perverted taste) heavy metal from Sweden:

Also, look at that nice cover art by Costin Chioreanu:

Yeah I'm actually looking forward to that too. Of course I was drawn in by the artwork at first but stayed for the song.

Possibly bumped-up to the top of my "most wanted" list on this song alone. Pretty massive, but melodic, sounding black-ish at points death-doom, or something. Amazing sound.

Exgenesis - Aphotic Veil

Nice one.

Didn't know that you're a Jari Lindholm fanatic though

Haha, nice, that's the second band I've seen do that in the past few weeks (Yyl did it too).

Nice sounding things that I've barely listened to yet, recently swiped from Bandcamp.

Surprisingly nice sounding synthy bm from Avantgarde Music. Only one track but very addicting and on the right side of cheese.

Interesting sounding folk-inspired avant-garde blackened death, on Aural Music. Certainly original.

Pretty pleasant sounding blackened post-metal, with a slight southern undertone. Reminds me of Fen a little.

Psychedelic space-themed stoner sludge. Probably wouldn't ahve glanced at this twice if not the artwork, but seems solid enough if not pretty good altogether.

Only one track up at the moment but this sounds like strong-as-balls blackened atmos-sludge type thing. You've probably heard it before but this certainly sounds worthy if that's your thing.

Something if you like cluttered, feedback-laden industrialised dark ambient soundscapes with rough-around-the-gills black metal. Not as good as the artwork suggests but this shit has atmosphere in spades.

Came here to post it, I do like it a lot as well. Well balanced Melodic Death Doom.

And thankfully not too melodic, not enough to put me off anyway.

Keeper / Sea Bastard Split. Some pretty viscous extreme doom on this thing, particularly the Keeper half which I enjoyed far more. Sea Bastard's half was pretty dull for me.

Artwork looks like it could have been done by Comaworx (a.k.a. Manuel Tinnemans) but it is more simplified.

I'm more than fairly sure that it was made by Mari Oseland. Stellar work.

Oh I am sure it isn't Manuel's work, since it isn't as detailed and intricate as what he does.
