My new boots are finally here, I can't wait to put them on. They are the called parachute boots. I bought it to a guy who sells them for the army, quite a good price. And my older ones are 4 years-old now, they could use some resting. Anyway, I buy them because they are beautiful and comfortable.

I have the most ridiculous boots now. i got em for christmas and i plan on wearing em to work so i dont have to stand on my feet for 4 hour in Vans.

Written by Elio on 30.12.2008 at 21:00 i work at a junior college bookstore. and since the only people that come into the bookstore during the middle of the semester only buy junkfood, i dont have much to do and end up standing behind a cash register without a chair for 4 hours. and Vans are awful when it comes to padding and support, so these boots are gonna come in handy.

I actually used to wear combat boots when I was working because after I got in-soles for them, they were very comfy... I used mine working 8 ~ 12 hour shifts at the catering company. On my feet the entire time. Even in the boots, sometimes it was murder. x_x

Written by Deadgirl on 04.01.2009 at 04:04 yeah see you actually DO STUFF at your job. my feet never hurt when i was washing dishes at a retirement home for a living because i was always moving, mainly due in part that my head chef was actually Adolf Hitler. but now that im stuck behind a cash register and my bosses refuse to give me something to sit on, i had to resort to big ass nazi boots in order to compensate. doesnt food service suck?

Written by LeChron James on 04.01.2009 at 06:53 That does suck, but please let me assure you that there is no universe in which walking around for that many hours on a concrete floor is any better than standing for that many hours on a concrete floor. After a while it all becomes the same... Although me washing dishes at the catering company was always a spectacle because each one of the three sinks was big enough for me to sleep in. Ahahaha.... Once I accidentally drained them all at once (a horrible novice mistake, I dunno what my problem was that day) and flooded the back corner up to my ankles. That was a sad day for my boots.

I used to work at a Couche-Tard (a chain of convenience stores), and work two eight hour shifts, without a seat and was predominantly stuck behind a cash register when there was nothing else to do. It was awful. The first few weeks, my back was killing me as were my feet, and I just crashed and vedged in my or my ex's room for the entire night afterwards. I didn't feel like doing anything. Thankfully, I got a better job at a random convenience store where, I'm stuck doing the same thing for eight hours, but now I can sit down and watch movies if I so desire! :]

How I know, it's a possible to find model for winter months, with special wadding. In my country its's normal when during the winter months temperature can be -20C. I need rock/metal fashion boots for low temperature (something like STEEL or GRINDERS). I live in Eastern Europe. Im trying to find and to order boots for this winter. I'm really obsessed with boots. I've had this pair of Grinders cherry ruboff boots since I was 15 (almost 10 years). I just discovered they don't even make them in that color anymore.  I also have a pair of cherry Docs (a substantially inferior shoe to the Grinders)  And when I'm not scaring old ladies (which is most of the time these days), I wear these Steve Madden chompies.
