Alot of people think a song is easy when they play it, but then they dont play the correct way to do it. I learned The Ripper by Judas Priest, sounds proffesional and is fairly simple.

AC/DC's TNT is an awesome song but its is very easy. One of the first songs i learned on guitar and also For Whom The Bell Tolls by Metallica. Two good but super easy songs.

the easiest song i ever heard with chords: doi ochi caprui(two brown eyes) by some girl band on here(bambi). if you understand the MOST BASIC CHORDS POSSIBLE you can do it: it's just C, Am, Dm, G.

easiest overall song: judas priest-eulogy

yeah right, that damn solo is one of the most technical i've ever seen, and the main riff is quite simple, though still too much for a newbie

just kidding mate! It is one hell of a song to play, but with practice the leads are playable just need practice. I play bass and even the bass follows the lead during the song...and it is pretty hard to follow.

I manage only to catch few riffs from that song lol
anyway, Enter Sandman is god damn easy, it is among my first metal songs ever (I mean first songs I manage to play whole)

Smoke on the water. Hands down the most simple song to play. Even the solo is simple.
( A great song none the less)

'Quintessence' by Darkthrone is pretty simple, I swear it takes longer to listen to the song than learn how to play the whole thing. I don't even play guitar and I can play that song.

It seems like your having trouble being able to play chords. I recommend some punk to get aquanted with them. If chords arent your thing (Which if there not you may have trouble as a guitarist), try a song with notes like Slayer's "Dead Skin Mask". Otherwise it depends on what genre of music you listen to. If you tell me what bands you like, I could probably pick out the playable songs for a beginner.

"Brain Stew" - Green Day Incredibly easy, power chord riff with 1-2 second chord changes.

Also, this says easiest "song", not easiest "riff", otherwise I would go with Smoke on the Water, but if you include the solos in those songs, they are much more difficult than Brain Stew.

And "Mudshovel" by Staind is the easiest song on bass. Drums is "Let It Be" by the Beatles.

I accidentally played the ending riff of it one day. Quite simple, especially considering that I don't really play guitar.
