"Exactly the same"? Wouldn't you agree that this is one is much more melodic than the usual Amon Amarth? That hook in the chorus is EPIC!

I would say that some melodies here are a "copy-paste" from previous songs of them haha.

Nevermind! I like the song, .

It's true, they play the same style as they always have, not too much change there. But the quality is over the top! They're getting better and better.

I've been listening to a bit of Amon Amarth recently, which is unlike me. I can't say this song was refreshing, it might as well have been on one of their last albums - it sounds just the same.

As I've said before, Amon Amarth are the AC/DC of death metal. I, for one, am perfectly ok with them being that too.

How can someone expect from AA to progress? they almost never do it... IMO their only progress was their last album which had a strange feeling at first but after some listenings it's one more great AA album and nothing more, nothing separate or specific.

so in the same formula, this one is one more GREAT AA song with a great solo, with a lot of energy but surely not that refreshing...

Wow!it's seems a great song. i guess there's just a litlle bit more swedish death metal here.and what's the problem about using the same formula??when the formula get's better it's always a good move, dudes. i just hope they don't get lame like on "guardians of asgaard" and "free will sacrifice". AA is a great band \m/

I will probably buy it right away but I would prefer a less polished sound like on Versus the World, this sounds way too smooth for me.

Sounds almost exactly the same as their previous hit. Horrible!

So... "their previous hit" was horrible? Sooo pathetic.
They play exactly the same music as 15 years ago, but they are better and better. A lot of people - including me - don't like when a band changes its style every f*king year. This song is another good reason to count days until Surtur Rising.

I'm not complaining about their sound, but on this particular song. It sounds exactly like the song "Twilight of The Thunder God".

Some cool guitar work on there, but yeah, business as usual. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Yeah, same here, before the guitar solo you can put inside the song "Thor! Odin son, protector of man kind...." and it fits perfect. Not bad but not good
