Psalm Zero - The Drain

Whole album available for streaming here:

http://www.avclub.com/article/stream-the-metallic-industrially-polluted-debut-al-201517

Dunno if this belongs here but it certainly is wierd (for me anyway).

It's got with clean, hardcore and black metal vocals and group shouts ?!? Riffage is melodic but occassionally quite heavy and discordant.

I'd agree with the "industrially polluted" descriptor they use as drums occassionally sound industrial.

Not my usual listening but found it by fluke and thought some of you lot would be interested in it.

Ah, the Castevet guitarist's side-project. Certainly belongs in here. Not quite pleased with the drums, but the music is intriguing.

Another amazing one-man project. Terrific instrumental post rock. How do these people do it?

Haven't heard of these guys but I see they're from my neck of the woods, although a fair way to the west. Thanks for the rec, we do have a lot of alternative metal in Australia and it's interesting to hear a band put more of a post twist to it.

Quality post hardcore/screamo/crustpunk from Germany. Usually not my thing but this sounds refreshing.
