He understood the emotions of people here. He has various cards to play with them - castes, religion, class etc. With right winger, he wanted to emulate Putin.
I don't really use a alarm clock, but if I had one it would play "Baby please don't go" by Aerosmith... (played very loud)
It would really make jump out the bed
Bolt Thrower At First Light ....hell i think that BT is perfect for alarm songs....

I, for some unknown reason, have been using "Man On The Silver Mountain" by Rainbow for a year already. Best thing is I still love it when actually listen to it, but I did think of changing it to some song I'm indifferent to.
Knowing me, I'll probably just sleep through any good song (because it doesn't annoy me) so I have to have the annoying BEEP BEEP BEEP when I wake up.
It works every time...except for when you have to be at a brief at 4:50 in the morning and sleep right through it and miss the brief...that was a bad day!

God's disciples want you to die!
In the blazing inferno
Slewed on Satan's pitchfork
Burning for eternity
Death
I see it coming your way
by my hand... or by your fate
with no remorse.

This is my my alarm call because I am a fan of Celine Dion. Her every song I like very much because her melodious type of song. I think her voice tone is something exceptional.
As you said i hate waking up with the alarm clock. it 's even worse when this is my favorite song!that's horrible. i prefer to wake up with the songs i really hate

I just have the beep beep beep. just putting songs i like as my ring tone (Alice Cooper's "Under My Wheels" was for a while) made me grow to wince when I heard them.
i will say 20 years ago my roommate used his stereo as an alarm. Waking up to Pink Floyd's "One Of These Days" was a pretty cool way to shake off sleep... especially given it was the first time i'd heard that song.

I've used The Stooges' "Search and Destroy" and Incantation's "Demonic Incarnate" as my alarm in the past. Since school's been out, I don't have much use for an alarm clock anymore.
