Oh, yeah, I've been to that site. You can also see those on www.norwegianblackmetal.com . I love his photos..so good. I also like how he photographed black metal artists naturally, not just with corpse paint on. You don't get to see that much in their photoshoots. One of my favorite photographers is Lohey. Lohey.net

I don't know many photograghers but Peter Javer from Australia is one of my favorites. He has done some very beautiful pictures of Australian landscapes and places. I don't know if he has a website

Annie Leibovitz is ofcourse a well respected photographer. Not very "metal-ish", but still.. The pictures she takes for Vanity Fair are beautiful.
Does anyone here knows which photographer who took the picture of Lemmy Kilmister throwing the Suicide Girls-cards?

Joel-Peter Witkin, an apparently very disturbed man who makes (morbid) wonders out of dead bodies, body parts and who knows what else.

Didn't think i'd be the first one to name robert capa. he was a war photographer who actually dided covering the vietman war. he got shot while he was taking a pic, so before he fell to the ground he was able to to take a pic. also i like some pics from a colombian photographer called leo matiz.
i also have some friends that are kinda like photographers 'under construction', hehe, but they also take really good pics
edit: just checked peter beste's site, bm pics as well as the others he has on his site and those are reeaally good, liked them a lot

One of my favs is Kobaru, http://www.kobaru.pl/, his site is only in polish, but I'm sure that it is worth to check anyway.

Dan Wetmore was the guitarist and lead singer for Mantic Ritual before they split up and he went on to pursue photography, photography I personally think is fantastic. He captures the real everyday lives of "rust belt" cities, or cities who boomed when steel mills were needed especially and experienced economic decline when the industry left. His photographs show creative views of objects, buildings and people with a sense for what is meaningful, and also sometimes comic. I watch his blog, Acid Eyes, religiously, and it has inspired me to take more photographs.
