I just found out about Riverside yesterday. RIP

I don't know what to say, I can't find the right words...this is shocking, 40 years old is way too young.

Piotr Grudzinski is a big big part of why I love this band and their sound. His solos and melodies are quite unique.

This is just too painful right now. What happened? He was so young.

Also, I'll be playing some Riverside in his honor non-stop.

R.I.P... he was an amazing guitarist who wrote some memorable melodies. He may be gone, but the music lives on forever

I'm so shocked and sad. He was a great artist. Gone too soon :'(

There's been a lot of musicians, actors, and other artists dying already this year, but this is by far the worst personally; only 40 years old, he had so much more of life to enjoy. Riverside have produced some of the most beautiful and evocative music I've ever heard, and his guitar playing was a key factor in that. I saw them twice last year, they played so well and all seemed very positive and upbeat, seemed like they still have a long and prosperous future together ahead. Feel so bad for his family and the rest of the band. RIP Piotr

That video always sends shivers down my spine. Paz, keep us up to date if you hear anything more.

Damn, this was unexpected, and way too early for him to happen.

The first concert I ever attended was Riverside's during their ADHD tour, still one of my favourite shows to date.

Ouch, this is just too painful to bear. Phenomenal guitarist, had the pleasure of seeing him perform back in September. Major loss for the progressive rock community, thoughts will be with the rest of the band and his family.

That's really depressing. I remember meeting him when I saw Riverside live. He was a pretty cool person. Now the lyrics of "Towards the Blue Horizon" will have a lot more weight for me.

What a terrible sadness... I remember their last concert in Moscow in 2013, and Piotr reading a verse in Russian. Such a good man and such a great musician... My heart is torn apart...
