Arch Enemy - Debut New Single

After releasing new single "Deceiver, Deceiver" in October, Arch Enemy now present another one. Titled "House Of Mirrors", it can be streamed below together with an official video clip. The song was co-produced by Michael Amott and Daniel Erlandsson, and mixed/mastered by Jacob Hansen.

I feel like a lot of their newer albums would be better as instrumentals. Their tracks always start off with some great ideas, but then just devolve into Alissa trying to sound as br00tal as possible for 4 minutes.

I agree with you, and more variations in vocal style would benefit them imo.

EDIT: Jeff Fucking Loomis is in Arch Enemy? That makes it worse for me. I loved Nevermore...

no, this band has gone through 3 vocalists and changes with each one
first album with the new one is somewhat similar to what they did with the previous one, a kind of transition, from the second one on it"s like a different band, so i"d recommend you try their first 4

The album cover reminds of Kiss' ''Crazy Nights'' album cover xD,anyways the song is not bad yet average and uninspired... For some reason i cant get into AE's newer stuff i find 'em generic af.
