I doubt that he fwould change anything just because fans wants that, they actually had choirs on their first releases. but they gavve up from that, later they used orchestra (altough it is oall played on keyboards) on Warriors Of The World, but in only small dozes.. About their touch with their fans, it is probably truth, they give free bike on almost all bigger shows lol

and if you show your passport or something while buying a tshirt and you have proof that you travelled from a different country to see them you get a free tshirt.

Wow, that is awesome, but WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT BEFORE LOL ?!? I traveled to see them in Hungaria, it was awesome show, but now I feel sorry I missed t-shirt lol

Did anyone catch Joey's interview in MetalHammer UK? I don't usually read that magazine, but I saw Manowar written on the cover and decided to read that interview in a newsagent, it turned out to be one of the funnier things that I've read this year.

@Lowelas: It's pretty much Metalhammer whinging that Manowar haven't been to the UK in ages, and Joey saying that Manowar will come soon to rectify this problem since it's not right for true metal people to be subjected to posers playing gigs all the time. He also says a lot about 'Gods of War' being great and how it's a tribute to the Norse gods, and how the grandiose compositions are tributes to 'the father of Metal, Richard Wagner', you get the picture. Pretty much like all other Manowar interviews. They discuss equipment (you know well that Manowar are the loudest band in the world), and the history of the band as well.

About the live album, yes it's being released on the 6th of July I believe.

however manowar is the greatest American metal band I think because they haven't changed their genre never.they don't make music for fool pops they do it for their real fan

Exactly, sure they dont change very much, but can you picture them doing anything but what there doing? Can you picture them playing prog? Or singing about any but fighting for metal, being a metal warrior or uniting with your metal brethren to fight an anonymous enemy?

lol yes I know I love these guys, and their content is not 'played out' but simply keeping it 'old-school'

Well, I know one gay who is gay and he listen to Therion, Nightwish, Epica... does it means that they are all gay?lol And probably the most popular metal bands among gays is Sonata Artica here lol

@Dr.Rock - But I noticed nothing glam in that album, try, who knows, maybe you find something, I saw you like glam lol maybe one or two songs are something totally different but that doesn't look or sound like glam to me (Carry On, Defender (awesome song), Fighting The World and AC/DC Blow Your speakers)

no no it was not full on glam......just the beats/rhythms sounded more mainstream.

I'm kinda sad now, but I was searching for some Manowar and Mayhem (to compare them) quotes for about 2 months! And when I finally got some good material, I was about to post it somewhere.... my friends deletes it.... =(

No I was not going to compare their music, but their ignorance =D Its so funny to see how similar both bands are when they talk about "true metal" lol
