Quo Vadis is the best technical death metal band of all time in my opinion. They have great drumming from Yanic Bercier the riffs and solos are amazing and they have one of the best players ever not to mention the growls are amazing. My favorite album from them is Day Into Night but my favorite song is Break the Cycle what are everyone elses opinions on the band?
Also they have an amazing triple DVD called Defiant Indoctirine anyone who likes the band should definently check it out.

I wonder what the various reasons are? It seems like it wasn't a "left on good terms" kind of thing. They mentioned it was hard for the drummer and that they would do the rest of the shows on a professional basis.

I don't know much about the band, but I read somewhere that some of the members are control freaks, which lead to bad tension before Defiant Imagination came out. I could be wrong though.

i just hope they can recruit a new lineup to at least equate to the power they had on Defiant Imagination.

could you imagine how insane that would be if he came back? i think thats one of the things that would calm my nerves about replacing their rhythm section.

I don't really think that the big steve digiorgio is "nuts"... He has a unique and a very personal techniques... The fretless board sounds great for the technic death style.. For the rythmic.. It just creates another dimension for every song..

thats what makes him nuts. he takes a song and adds a new dimension to it, a trait of a virtuoso musician.

Do you want to see Quo Vadis in Europe in April 2009 ?

(I add that gigs in France are foreseen)

This is a simple question. Don't hesitate to answer there or on the band myspace (fan myspace in the reality).

No propaganda there, Bart Frydrychowicz asked me to gauge the european public expectation. All your answers will be transmitted to the band in a few days. Thank you !

The new song is really good. It's just a little different from their other stuff to keep things interesting. I find that it has a bit of an avantgarde touch to it at some places, am I wrong ?

Sorry, completely out of topic, but how, the heck, do you guys (from Europe) get your Quo Vadis records?? Couldn't find it in Moscow - OK! But now, back in Vienna, there is no way either... and since they won't bless Austria with a concert in April, I don't think, that the situation in the stores will change.

So, do you know any good opportunity (company, website..), where you can order them for a reasonable price?

- I like the new song, btw =)

They are a bit of a bitch to find...I ended up just ordering from their Myspace. They are pretty reasonable to buy($9.99 I think). They do have a delivery charge but it's the same charge if you order 1 or 3 albums(from what I remember) so pick up the lot!:-)

Alternatively you can download them cheaply from mp3fiesta.com although they don't have the entire back catalogue!

I'm pretty sure the release date is TBA. There's still a few months before the end of the year, and it wouldn't be the first time an album was delayed.
