Ten years after the "The Cube", "Supuration", cult death metal band from France, do is great come back with this new album "Incubation". For those who don't know "Supuration" I will try to do a little historic of this band. In two words, "Supuration" is born in 1990. In 1993, "The Cube" their first album an excellent Death metal production, was released. With this first album "Supuration" will become very quickly a cult band of the French metal scene. However in 1995 for their 2nd real album, the band let the Death part and becomes S.U.P. and will work more in the Gothic/Doom metal.
Now in 2003 and after 9 months of "gestation" [and work] for this new album the Loez brothers [leaders of the band] come back with the name of Supuration.
And this come back is not a joke, because "Incubation" like "The Cube" could be very quickly a new masterpiece.

The 9 tracks of the album representing the 9 months of the gestation/incubation [of the album] are just excellent. All the tracks of this new production are very catchy very pleasant to listen. The clean/death voice of the singer is very good, and with that, the construction of the songs are very professional, at the end each song are very impressive.
This is not speed and fast Death metal, this is not also a brutal Death metal, but something very melodic with a slow tempo and at the end very near of Doom metal. Because yes with "Incubation", "Supuration" don't do a pure Death metal and it's n not a problem, because their music is just good.
The production of the cd is also great the sound is very good, it's very cool to see that label like Holy Records can give such good conditions of work to their bands. At the end who can see the great quality of production of this "Incubation". Just perfect.
I will not very long now, with the new album of "Supuration", the music is good, the lyrics are good the sound is good, well this concept album is just a great album.
Maybe some people will regret some parts of the music [maybe too slow for moment], say that only 9 tracks and 40minutes is really short, that's true but well I think, that this return is a real good and unexpected surprise, ten for this time we could close our eyes on that. And after all the cd is too good to be criticised?

For their "come back" the guys of "Supuration" didn't make things half, this new album is a masterpiece and I recommend it to all the fans of metal. I really hope that in addition of S.U.P., one will have from time to time a little cd of "Supuration" like this one.
"Supuration" is back and after "The Cube", "Incubation" confirm that we are indeed in presence of a great band. A must?
