French guys who make southern U.S. rock, do you believe me? Well my friends you can trust me, because "Wild West" is a pure French band that uses to do Hard Rock with a big touch of southern American sound. "Second To None" is the second album of this quintet and with "Wild West" you'll see that this music is not the exclusivity of Americans bands.

"Second To None" is very well recorded, at the first listening you'll easily feel this southern American rock touch in the music and you'll understand that the guys of the band are really into this musical style.
The 11 tracks of the cd are a lot of good compositions, good heavy guitars solo, good rhythmic and especially a very good voice of Hard Rock. This is certainly the strong point of this album, the voice of André Fuciarelli, is very good for that music, we have here a very good singer. The other guys are not too bad too, Wild West is a band with good musicians for sure.
With a good production a nice booklet and a very good sound "Second To None" is well done, this album could be like by the listeners. On the other hand I'm wondering if there is a lot of potential listeners, not by the fact that this album is bad because it's not bad but by the fact that, I think, this music is not too much accessible to the majority of the metalheads. For my part for example I think that this album sound too much American and if you're not into that music, well, that could certainly be harder for you to have a good feeling with that album.

At the end I could say that "Second To None" is a good album, we have good songs, a very correct work but the only problem is that this songs are not the kind of music that all the people can like. If you like US touch in Hard Rock, you'll certainly be surprised by this good French band but if you are not into that music [even if it's not impossible that you like it] well I think that it could be more hard for you to be interested a lot of time by this cd.
A good album for the aficionados of that music, for the others you can listen it and make your own opinion but that could be hard for you to be dazzle of Wild West even if I reapeat myself we have here a very good album of Hard Rock with South US rock touch.
