Pagan's Mind - Heavenly Ecstasy [Progressive Power Metal - Norway] One of the greatest prog albums. A few tracks are average but some of the best Power and Progressive Metal songs can be found here. "Eyes Of Fire", "Follow Your Way", "Revelation To The End" [8.3/10] |

Dragonland - Under The Grey Banner [Power Metal - Sweden] In my top 3 albums for 2011. Just like Elysium it is hard to pick a standout track because the whole album is a masterpiece. The atmosphere and female vocals are incredible and the songs themselves are fast, heavy and catchy. Here are some of the really good tracks: "Shadow Of The Mithril Mountains", "The Black Mare", "Lady Of Goldenwood" [8.3/10] |

Almah - Motion [Progressive Power Metal - Brazil] The Brazilians lead by Edu Falaschi are evolving with each release. While Fragile Equality might be a better album this comes close. With it's down tuned riffs and interesting lyrics, I think it's one of the best releases of 2011. "Trace Of Trait", "Bullets On The Altar", "Zombies Dictator" [7.8/10] |

Iron Savior - The Landing [Power Metal - Germany] Didn't expect this one to be this great. After the average Megatropolis, my expectations were not that high but it turned out to be one of the best Power Metal albums in years. "Heavy Metal Never Dies, "Starlight", "Moment In Time", "Before The Pain" [8/10] |
