EPs from first to eight are masterpieces (for me). 'The Plague' is one of the best thrash records of 1987

Yep, also because it was the very first band I ever saw live.
June 1983 Aardschokdag Mercyful Fate opened that day and after their gig signed their Roadrunner contract. ALready had the e.p and last demo at the time though.

And since a year or so I finally own a recording of that gig both on cd and on vinyl, hell yeah. All 60 glorious minutes of it.
