Here are my favorite albums from the death metal subgenres in the title. Each offers something special and deserves attention for being in my view among the best I've heard. I listen to every brutal death or slam album I can find. These are, in my opinion, the best of the best.

Most are in recent years as the subgenres are relatively new. If a band could be categorized simply as death metal, I've generally left them off this list. These bands fit firmly within the BDM and/or Slam realms. This leaves out bands like Skinless, Pyrexia, or even Krisiun who all can be called BDM by some and just DM by others. This list should offer a doorway to some great bands and albums for new fans and old of the genres involved. It's hard to keep track of them all.

Please write your opinions on the list, if you have any. I'm not doing this list because I consider myself as an expert more than other people here, but because I think it is interesting to discuss things like this. I might be wrong in many cases, and I would only be glad if you correct me about any of my "mistakes", if you find any, or suggest other bands that deserves to be on the list. I have tried to only include bands that are fully accepted as metal, why many alternative bands are excluded.

in MY OPINION, these are the bands and albums i just cannot stop listening to, the 1st 10 albums are the best ones (based on how many times i listened to the album) after the 1st 10, no specific order. If you have any suggestions let me know, chances are i've never listened to the album. Also I have requirements concerning the lyrics, so if i dont update the list with your suggestion is bc i might not like the music or the lyrics. Long Live Multi-Colored Flower Metal!!!
