Bad English

Russian Beast wizards from cold and frozen tundra fix another cold and good album, decent for a Gengre. Folk parts, slow parts are there. I like if Russian bands dont use kyrlic even if sings in Russian. Outstanding band in Russian scene.

I love the vocals in this, especially the parts where the growls are layered with a lower death metal-ish growl beneath the main vocal. The songwriting is mostly solid.

I am not nor have I ever been a musician or a member of a one-man band, especially a band that has a name that starts with "D".

The slower songs are pretty good. As well as the owl hoots in the first sind. The slow build up to the title track is the highlight of the album.

Pretty amazing and unique album that took me 2 full listens to "get". It's a bit of a different take on atmospheric black metal both with the atmosphere it creates (not uplifting but also not as dark as usual) and some unusual instruments used here and there. The also isn't much fast drumming which I would usually not like but in this album it works. It's almost a bit like a mix of doom metal and atmospheric black metal.

Despite the unique aspects the overall songwriting is on point. So this isn't just good for the sake of it being a bit unique, it is also backed up by real musical talent.

This is the first album of this year to stand out for me.
