Korpituli’s sophomore outing of Burzumy black metal doesn’t stray very far from its roots, yet always seems in a rush to break free. Third time’s the charm?

Bad English

Good idea about albums but it has demo vibes, demo recordings in a sauna, needs better studio work. Otherwise it'd good album.

It's unbelievably raw and sinister, with a good Burzum copycat sound, especially on the first and last track, and I'm hearing some Dissection influences thrown in too. Obviously it's nothing that hasn't been done before, this album would have sounded great back in the early 90's, when this style and production had just come about, but I'm not sure if it has the same effect anymore like it used to. They have still done a good job at re-creating that traditional old school sound, but unfortunately there's nothing memorable about the riffs and songwriting for me on here.

"Lost, Unspoken Sorrow Of Ages" and "Eternal Shadows Dance" are probably my favourite tracks on here, but there's nothing I find particularly special about the album.

This would have been a must-listen all-time classic if it were released 30 years ago. Difficult to judge on its own merits though.
