The mix of very Opeth-reminiscent passages with more melancholic melodeath/doomy songs/parts is quite effective here

This is a pretty impressive progressive metal album, even though the style and structure is uncannily similar to Opeth there's still some fine melancholic moments and great instrumentation, it's also very well produced and performed.
