I was not expecting another album so soon, but I'm happy to have it. I love it just as much as the last one!

This is a great album as expected, and I suspect it will even grow on me over the course of the year just like the previous album did. It seems slightly more melancholic, upbeat, and doomier, and a tad less blackened than what they've done previously, but maybe that's just the way I see it. So far the only thing that gives the previous album the edge over this one is the track "Sullen" which was one of my top 5 tracks from last year.

Another great record by Austere. I'm excited to see how this will grow on me. I wasn't that impressed with last year's album, not saying I didn't like it, but this just seems to hit a bit harder by the first listen.

Really quality. I wonder if they’ve had these songs on deck for the last decade and are now just releasing them?

Couldn't agree more on the sound. It's almost atmospheric BM. I honestly didn't see this as DSBM album. I might actually like this more than last years, but it's almost a toss up.

"Edging into post-blackened doom territory, this album blends the best bits of 90's era melodic doom/death
with what we have come to expect the ""DSBM"" scene. Great pacing. Great songs."

It took me a few listens to get into the previous one, but this was an instant love. For sure this has little to nothing to do with dsbm though. It's atmospheric and melodic, and also quite bright I would dare say, for this style of black metal.

Biggest disappointment so far, this year for me. COH was a great comeback that had both depth and instant highlights. This for me is too much easylistening streamlined post gray metal that has lost its bleakness.
