If anything can be said about Horseback, it's that they've achieved the almost impossible; they've taken a form of music that is generally difficult to get into, and made it accessible and digestible, without compromising the heart & integrity behind the whole thing.
Just listened to the full stream today and felt kind of disappointed. The songs don't really differ from each other and the noisy pseudo-psychedelia blends together in massive haze of stagnation.
The "Hallucigenia" trilogy is awesome, though. I probably gave this a full point more than I would have just for those three tracks.
That final track is a psychedelic paradise, completely hypnotizing rhythm. Don't agree with Troy there, the difference between each track is as clear as day for me.
