Black metal from guys who look like thrashers.
Seem legit, and awesome.

It's a good listen but honestly nowhere near album of the year for its category to my ears. The overall sound and approach just isn't that interesting.

Been on my radar for a while since Troy last recommended it. Still haven't got round to it though. I'm that behind )=

It seems to me like one of those buzz-name bands this year that's popping up in every list and doing very well, but I honestly don't think it's that good. Good but not great. Much how like Pallbearer has strangely appeared atop, or at least in, every list at the moment.

people's taste do differ =P and I'm no stranger to disagreeing with others XD
I'd imagine Liber II, Darkspace, Water Witch, Verdunkeln and Gnaw Their Tongues would be hard to beat anyway.
either way, still looking forward to listening to this (and Stagnant Waters)

If you ask me it's because Mutilation Rites look a bit hipsterish : P
Sadly I've not seen a single Mories release appear on any lists yet (that have published on various Facebook groups and label updates). Or Blut aus Nord come to think of it.

Well I generally meant lists that were published on Facebook via labels that were from various blogspots and review sites.
You can make notes on Facebook so guess that could be turned into a list.
