Music is an art form. Like drawing or painting, it requires passion and years of practice to perfect. Within painting, there are thousands of fantastic artists, all with a unique creativeness and mindset. However, only a select few gain the respect of the average folk. Only a few people's work will ever turn into a masterpiece, (Picasso or Van Gogh for example) leaving hundreds of artists in the dust. I suppose what I'm getting at is that We Lost The Sea are the musical form of those artists; something that will fly under the radar, unnoticed by most.

I like this sound and I'm also fucking disapointed that I cannot say to which style of metal this band belongs!! But I love nearly each song in this album, they're so cool, so strange you don't know what to think about it... so 10/10

Post-metal.

Check out bands like Cult Of Luna, Alaskan, Isis and many more.

For me it's always an advantage that band can't be clearly classified...

Nice album, but I still prefer Atoma and Sunpocrisy in the race for post-metal album of the year.

I've listened to this 3 or 4 times now. Standard post metal with the occasional "uh oh, we better be different" piano and female voice. Reminds me a lot of Arktika. It's not bad but not memorable enough for me to think about it when it comes time to pick the best of 2012.

Awww man, don't be sad! Like I said, It's not bad, it's just another SSDB as Craig likes to call it. You know me Boxcar, post metal is my passion and something really has to blow me away for me to give 9+'s

Yea, it's good. But that's it. Did you give it multiple spins? I played it thru like 5 times, wondering if I was missing something...

twice so far. I tend to have pretty lengthy intervals in between each spin just to make sure my mindset and mood is suitable.
