I went to high school when Metalcore/Deathcore were at max popularity and it felt like half the school wore Asking Alexandria, Whitechapel, JFAC, and BTBAM shirts. Basically everyone else were rednecks though so it balanced out

There are exceptions, of course

I have a Hercules t-shirt and I DEFINITELY don't listen to that band. I like the logo though and I wear it so maybe some poor soul does the mistake and check them out 😁

I wouldn't even borrow a shirt of mine to a friend unless they listen to the band, they go home naked instead

it's gone past "poser", now instead of wearing a DM/BM t because it looks cool, corpos have adopted DM/BM font for themselves.

I don't use the term poser a lot, but wearing a band shirt of something you don't listen to is a big no no
