Varmia is a band founded by Lasota from Olsztyn, Poland. Inspired by the preslavic qualities, heritage of the Warmia district and by one of the best Polish treasures - metal music. Lasota is supported by bassist Ćwiara, drummer Kruszyn and Slavic instruments player Piotr.

Varmia has just recorded the debut LP playing live in the old barn at one of the Warmian lakes. It will be released on February 28th by the Polish label Via Nocturna. The band's sound is a unique combination of an old school extreme metal with an ethnic Slavic instruments and vocals.
