Biography

It all started in the summer 2005 when Hossein and Ahmad decided to participate in a project which is now known as "Kuadrumana" and found their music talents and interests mutually attractive.
During the following two years they went through writing some materials and demo recordings for pre-production of their debut album, called "The Gamodeme" which comes out as a demo album(consisted of 2 songs) that released over the internet in 2009 due to the impossibility of releasing metal music in their homeland.

The whole idea of the album was objections to their limits, inflicted by their static environment.

Meanwhile they met and attracted new members; Mohammad Reza Jan Bozorgi as the drummer, Mehrdad Movaseghi as the bass player and Armin Zia on the rhythm guitars.
After partial practices and recordings of the first album, the work on the second album started in the spring of 2008 when they found the situatiuon for promoting their music in Iran unrealizable, caused by government restrictions surrounded the whole music community.

Live and concerts:

Kuadrumana managed to play live in their hometown, besides the hardship they sold more than 80% of the tickets for the gig that cancelled from the authorised government officials.

Also they had the chance to play live on 2009 SXSW music festival but because of crucial problems of members the band could not attend and perform at SXSW 2009.
Mehrdad movaseghi and armin zia left the band for personal reasons and replaced by Mohammad rahimi on the bass and Ardavan Nikaeen on the guitars.
After reinforcing the bands line-up once again they decided to perform at 2010 SXSW music festival which invited the band for the second time.
The process of getting visa for a band that comes from a controlled music/art country was impractical for the rules that impel the artist to prove they are a "Legitimate" artist which was not likely affordable for kuadrumana at the time.

All attempts at organizing of legal or underground performances whether out of borders or not during the past 4 years have been futile. The political and also to some extend cultural limits imposed on current Iranian artist, prevents the freedom and growth of any kind of art that may be understood or misunderstood as so called "western".One can imagine that this is particularly true about metal music.
