Verge presents modern black metal based on occult philosophy. That means before anything else that our work is holistic and practical, not only music and "ideological" lyrics added to it. Verge is not propaganda for certain ideas but an attempt to manifest a presence that is in many ways emergent to the current personalities in the band. Though the approch varies between different songs and releases, the core of Verge is always to picture, as deeply and widely as possible, mankind channeling the received divine serpent fire of Lucifer. We have not so far been able to form a stable line-up and style of presentation. But it might be that it is our task to be in constant and unpredictable movement; there is still always the same presence behind everything. The first two ep..s (first one recorded in early and the second one in late 2005) contain more traditional black metal compositions and direct destructive approach. The first full-length Hatemagic became much more varied yet impulsive. Few days ago was released our split with Blood Red Fog, recorded in 2008. It presents absolutely uncompromising and ugly art on ultimate spiritual hybris. We are currently finishing the second full-length "Sex & Violence", our easily most complete and well performed work so far. No one knows the future, but expect always only the most creative and uncompromising art with dedication from us. -Wrong 25.6.2010
