In the summer of 1997 Matthias Schwanz and Jörg Truttenbach decided to start a band together, on the common ground of enjoying heavy metal music. In 1999, they added drummer Matthias Weislogel and began playing gigs. By 2001, they had recorded their first album, Revenge Be Mine. Marcus Winter and Roberto di Meco came aboard in 2002 taking over the positions of bass and drums, respectively. Then in 2003 they recorded their second album, A Jester's Tale. In 2004 they signed with SOD records and changed the lineup once again, adding David Baumann on bass and Johannes Schumacher on drums.

In 2007 band changed name to Evertale
