Yeah Europe saw pretty much the same development. Insane price hikes that increase CoL severely.

I'm sure mostly caused by opportunistic corporate greed.

As a whole though, I'm sure other countries are affected the same, but I can't believe the dramatic price increase in most things since covid. Especially our groceries.

I mean, sure, it'd be an average. And it would be per-capita numbers, so single households would pull up and lager families would pull down. Still, rent is probably the most important factor when considering a city.

But yeah, no one is spending more on ramen than they are on rent lol.

I guess too many variables with renting to include, renting a single room vs whole apartment, having roommates etc.
