After Bruce Dickinsons departure from Iron Maiden in 1993, there was a rumor that vocalist Marco Hietala was among the people considered to replace him. In fact, Marco had sent the Iron Maiden camp a copy of To Live Forever but got no official response. According to some journalists who had interviewed the band Hietala was in the top 10. Hietala still considers these stories as rumors. |
